TAR process is in full swing at SOCAR Polymer facilities

TAR (inspection, maintenance, and overhaul of equipment) activities are in full swing at SOCAR Polymer facilities, which began in late October and were accompanied by a scheduled shutdown in production. As part of the TAR process, technical inspection of the units installed on the plant site, ATEX panels, feeder sections of electrical equipment were carried out, various reactors and heat exchangers installed on the plant site were cleaned, and major repairs on the main extruder equipment were successfully completed. Repair works are currently ongoing in some areas of the Plant, including flushing of pipelines and reinstallation of dismantled equipment parts. Together with the large-scale repair and maintenance works carried out earlier this April, the current TAR process will also create conditions for safer, more efficient, and stable operation of the Plant in the coming years.
