A wreath was laid at the base of the memorial on behalf of the chemical community of Sumgayit, followed by a one-minute silence, to mourn the lives of our compatriots, brutally cut short in 1918 by Armenian barbarians, and pray for the innocent souls.
Further on, the delegation travelled from Guba to Gusar, to lay a wreath and flowers to the Gusar Blood Valley Memorial raised in 2009 to pay tribute to the valiants of Guba and Gusar who fought against the Armenian Dashnak troops in 1918, and drove the outnumbering armed gangs of the Armenian enemy away.
